The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants.
I encountered several frustrating issues. The bathroom was uncomfortably cold. The heating system was excessively noisy, disrupting my sleep. It's disappointing that the exterior of the hotel lacks appeal when the interior seems updated and clean.

The appearance of the hotel, inside was very clean and outside was pleasant with safe, good lighting in parking lot for after hours. The Manager was very friendly and spoke good English.
Non-English speaking staff when Manager was not present. It was difficult to communicate.

The staff was very nice and the room was nice for the amount of ime we were pannin on spending in it.
The breakfast was smaller than I expected. It said it was included and usually that means cereal, toast or some kind of muffin, and some fruit. The breakfast was only cereal and coffee which was ok, I just expeced a little something else. The breakfast also ended at 930, which was kind of early for what there was to eat. Needless to say we only made it to breakfast one day.

The room was cute, hip contemporary design, great, everything was
Clean and orderly. The bed was comfortable, crucial for my solo trip. I did notice that the shower soaps were fragranced, a bit tough given my sensitivity. Still, the overall atmosphere was good.

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel near U of A to take my son. It was a last minute trip and I didn't want to spend a lot. This is a family owned hotel and not a resort. The manager/owner was very nice and accomodating, the room was clean and there is a small pool. This fit the needs of my trip since I didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room. I did forget my phone charger and the manager was nice enough to let me use his. Nice staff and clean rooms, i would stay here again.
There are limited stores and restaurants nearby, i checked this out before so I knew i would be walking since I wasn't getting a car.
